Not the biggest arm, I agree with you there. But, he is showing, he is most talented.

He did it again. Another good game and this time against a very respectable defense. Making the correct decision all over the place.

He's done it against more than decent & playoff caliber teams: Dolphins, Buccaneers, Seahawks, Commanders.

He hit the ground running against the Dolphins and he really hasn't played even a bad quarter of football. We realize that Shanny is managing his risks, but throws like the one to Kittle for his first TD was on mark and in stride. No complaints regarding his sample of work. Good job by Purdy and Kyle.
I'm proud of this kid for his maturity. Idk if he's a long term franchise QB but he's handled himself really well.
At some point I think it becomes evident that the kid has what it takes. The offense is so much better with Purdy at QB than it was with Jimmy. JG won a lot, but I think we all agree he left a ton of points on the field with his lack of awareness and confidence.

I know many of us are waiting for Purdy to come back to reality, but I think there's enough evidence that the kid is very good, and Shanahan clearly has more confidence in him that he did with Jimmy. That speaks volumes.

He's very impressive, for someone in his first year in the league. I've been blown away by him.

Purdy can avoid the rush, scramble, and throw deep better than Jimmy

Better arm than Jimmy, too.

Can you point out the plays he missed due to his lack of arm strength?

I'm ready to anoint Purdy as the next great 49ers QB.

No, no, definitely not three. Four.

I like what i see so far but lets be real. its only been 3 games. there have been plenty of qbs that ball out and then fizzle out. hell some qbs have great SEASONS and then just start to suck. im happy so far but lets let the kid learn and dont put too much pressure on him

LOL, what a downer.

Why not enjoy it and expect it to continue?

Also, it has been four games.

3 starts

Four games

If you're going to count non starts, then 4 is also incorrect

brock purdy reminds me of dan marino
I'm still far from crowning the guy but he played well and when things weren't going his way he maintained composure and did what he needed to. Needs to score in the RZ though I think Shanny has more to do with that then Purdy.
